High Definition Video

Mark and I want to start showing HD videos on Birdro. There’s only one problem: they will take longer to load than non-HD videos.

Please watch the video in this post and leave a comment if you feel you have to wait too long for the video to load.

(This IS an HD video, but it was filmed inside and in low lighting. The picture quality might not what one might expect from an HD video.)

Would you rather see non-HD videos instantly or wait a bit longer (based on your internet connection speed) for the HD video?

Please leave a comment with your feedback. If we don’t get any major complaints, we’ll go ahead and start showing our videos in HD!

I love her dress!

I’m a little impatient so I don’t really like waiting long. But I do appreciate high quality so I’m torn.

Thanks for your input! I’m impatient too – I have been doing videos on my little point and shoot, but we also have a HD Flip Video camera that I like to use. We can make the HD videos more suitable for the web, but so much quality is lost! It’s a hard decision to make, which is why I hope my readers will make it for me!

While it was loading, it would stop and then continue again-so breaks. But when I replayed it for Grandpa, it
played without pausing. Great job. I can’t believe that
she got that down so quickly. I didn’t think that it lost quality in viewing it.
