Amelia’s new daylily has bloomed!
It was raining this morning, so Mark used his 55-200 mm lens to take these pictures from our front porch.
To get this picture he ran out in the rain (holding an umbrella to protect his camera from the rain) and crouched in front of the bloom.
I went out a little later, once the rain had stopped, and took a few more with my little point and shoot.
Beautiful!
Pretty nice, I’d say!

It is a beautiful flower and great pictures both of you.
I am so glad that you all got to see the bloom before next season. Thanks for sharing because mine will not come this year, I’m afraid. Mark, good work – beautiful pictures in the last post.
