Happy Thanksgiving

Today was a lovely day. Amelia and Mark watched the parade while I baked a pumpkin pie. Amelia’s favorite part of the parade was the Sesame Street float!

During the parade we Skyped with Grandma G, Grandpa D, Uncle Dan, Andrea, Uncle Erik, Cheryl and Great Grandpa M. It was so fun to see all of them, and Amelia had a big time waving and blowing kisses at the computer screen. After we finished Skyping we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa B’s house.

Grandpa B took some pictures of us out on the front porch, although Miss Wiggle-Worm didn’t want to hold still.

If you look at the large version of this picture, you can see Amelia’s wispy hair. Love it!

Amelia is pulling up on everything now – she is going to be walking in no time! In this picture she is trying to pull Shelby’s tail. Ouch!

Dinner was delicious, and Amelia really chowed down. She had turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and green bean & corn casserole. I’m sorry Grandpa D, but we don’t have a picture of her chowing down on a turkey leg – maybe next year?!?

After dinner Amelia took a restorative nap and then played on the floor with Grandma B. They had a lot of fun with bubbles, and Mark had a lot of fun with the camera!
