Weekend Wrap Up

On Friday Amelia and I played a lot of fun games.

Throw-the-lens-cap-into-the-bumbo was fun . . .

so was throw-the-lens-cap-into-the-laundry-hamper.

Mama didn’t really like the pull-the-sleepsack-out-of-the-crib game

and the try-to-empty-all-of-the-dresser-drawers game wasn’t much fun either.

Later in the day we played hide-and-seek . . .

. . . and Amelia did a little bit of dancing!

On Saturday we ran some errands and enjoyed a relaxing morning (and early afternoon) at home. Mark and Amelia played outside for a bit and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Later in the day we picked up some barbecue from our favorite local place, Phil’s Dream Pit. Mmmmm . . . chopped pork and beef brisket . . . it was so tasty! I had been thinking about it for months – the last time we ate there was actually over a year ago, when I was pregnant with Amelia. It is just a tiny little place, and it’s not “on the way” to anything (it’s actually about a 30 minute drive from our house). We made a special trip out there yesterday, picked up enough food to feed an army and headed up to Grandma and Grandpa B’s house to watch the Tennessee vs. Georgia game.
