Weekend Wrap Up

On Friday afternoon Amelia helped me make some chocolate zucchini cake. She had so much fun helping me shred the zucchini! This recipe is so good – you cannot tell that there are any veggies in there at all!

On Saturday Mark took us to a little park along the Holston River. There were a lot of geese there, and they were very friendly! Amelia couldn’t stop pointing at them. The only problem with all of the geese was that there were a lot of droppings on the walking path! We didn’t spend too much time there, because we had a few more stops to make. Once we got home and Amelia woke up from her nap Mark hung up all of our pictures/artwork. Our apartment seems so much more homey now!

On Sunday we celebrated Shelby’s birthday. Normally we celebrate her birthday on the 4th of July (she had a special treat last year), but this year we were moving and kind of forgot about her big day. Amelia picked out a great new toy for Shelby and the two of them had a lot of fun playing together!
