Weekend Wrap Up

Amelia definitely has her own sense of style. She loves swimming so much that she wears her sun hat whenever she can and wears her bathing suit on her arm like a purse. I took these pictures on Friday afternoon – too funny!

On Saturday Mark and I went on a date while Grandma and Grandpa stayed with Amelia. We had a lovely time – it was so nice to get out and just be a couple for a few hours. We’re so thankful to Grandma and Grandpa for watching Amelia – we know that she really loves spending time with them!

On Sunday Amelia wore a beautiful gold necklace that my bestefar (Bestefar means Grandfather in Norwegian) gave her when she was born. This was the first time she’s worn it, because I was always afraid that she would yank it off or get it twisted around her neck. She loved wearing it though, and kept touching the pendant to make sure it was still there. Precious! We also took a drive to Amelia Court to get a picture to hang in Amelia’s room. I’m so happy with how it looks!
