Welcome to birdro.com!
My husband Mark and I live in the southeast U.S. with our lovely daughters, Amelia and Florence. We also share our lives with a lab(ish) goofball of a dog named Shelby.
On Saturday I had Mark take a few pictures of me and Amelia. I recently realized that there are hardly any of me during this pregnancy and knew I had to remedy that! I might not care for the way I look in pictures right now, but I know it will be fun for baby girl to look back on these pictures and know that she was in my tummy! I absolutely love my baby belly – it constantly brings to mind the miracle inside of me, especially when baby girl gets to rolling around in there. Yesterday she was doing “the wave” after I ate lunch – such a fun thing to see and feel!
This coming Saturday (March 24th) I will be more pregnant than I have ever been, seeing as how Amelia was born when I was 34 weeks 5 days pregnant. I am having a hard time imagining what my belly will look like if I make it to 39 weeks! Both of my doctors have decided to induce me at 39 weeks because of my Gestational Diabetes, and I am just praying that I make it that long. Hopefully the little one will stay put and the doctors won’t find any reason to induce earlier!
Also, take a look at Amelia’s big open-mouthed grin in the first two pictures! That’s what we get when we ask for a smile. The last few were taken after Mark asked Amelia to give her sister a hug – she’s such a sweetheart!

Oh my goodness, that last pictures is just too precious for words. Amelia is going to be a great big sister.
You have ramped my baby fever up to full on baby lust. I need to get insurance right this minute. Lily needs a sister.
She is enamored with the idea of having a sister in the house, and all of her stuffed animals are her “babies” now. I’m just praying her excitement stays once the little one is actually here!
Great shots!! We’re so excited!!!
Love and Miss you,
Uncle Dan & Andrea
Oh my goodness! Look at you, beautiful girls! I had no idea you were expecting again. You look radiant. Congratulations!
Thank you Lydia! I enjoy seeing little Vivian on your blog – she is gorgeous! And Seamus is SO BIG – hard to believe!
Good good pictures.
