Hi there! I’m Amanda – a twenty-something wife and mother. For a few years now, my husband’s pet name for me has been “Bird”. To this day I have no idea where the name came from, but Bird morphed into Birdro, and here we are!

I married the love of my life on May 12, 2007, and Mark and I became parents on December 23, 2008. Mark is a Systems Administrator, and I used to work at the public library. I am now a stay at home mom – Amelia is the best thing in my life, and I feel honored that the Lord chose me and Mark to be her parents. Rounding out our little family is a fun-loving lab mix named Shelby, who we adopted from the local animal shelter. If you’d like a bit more information, check out my very first post.
